NEWS AND NOTES We've recently created a new website dedicated to free windows mobile 6 compatible software downloads. You can view the site here:
Although WM6.0 isn't mainstream yet, there are developers currently working on software apps for cell phones. We'll do our best to bring all the best free applications for ALL Windows Mobile 6 cell phones and consolidate it in one place. Our goal is to bring one together all apps (free) into one place and make it easy to find and friendly to download. No more running around looking for a program! Tell all your friends and message boards about this site. Although there aren't many programs on it now, keep an eye out for new additions in the months to come. With the recent release of Cingulars 8525 pda (otherwise known as the Hermes 160 or a variant of the HTC TyTN), there have been hungry 8525 users looking for software for their new pda. Here at 8525software, we took it upon ourselves to consolidate all the links to hacks, utilities, games and other useful programs found all across the internet. No longer do you need to visit a ton of websites looking for software. Although there are some VERY useful sites to learn about exploring your 8525 further.
Remember this? You probably saw this screen while searching for the 8525, but instead was wow'd by the TyTn. Now you can have the TyTn's successor hardware AND have its green screen. Check out the downloads in the Theme section.

written by Jim Jeppesen, February 20, 2007 I am not very smart about loading new software. the new programs to fix the PPT button and the change to vibrate. Where do you put the cab files? jj written by David A. Frosh, February 22, 2007 I just bought an 8525 and unlocked it for use on T-Mobile, thinking it would be fully functional. However, I am having great difficulty accessing WIFI, in that the device really wants to switch to Cingular's GPRS/3G and when it can't access those bands, it gives up. I would love to find the HTC software for the TyTN, so that I could eliminate all the proprietary Cinglar software. Is this possible? Any suggestions for pursuing this? I just happened upon this site and fell in love immediately! I look forward to a long association. |
